Barrier-free accessibility
New Castle
The amenities in the New Castle do offer full accessibility for the disabled (e.g. wheelchair-bound visitors). Due to the blocking of the Roßmühlstraße, the barrier-free parking spaces of the museum are currently not available. You find parking lots for the disabled at the Paradeplatz, from where you can reach the building through the castle courtyard (ca. 150 m). In the building you can reach all three floors barrier-free. Ramps in the inside enable the passage of steps and threshold. In the basement disabled toilet facilities are available from April 2015 on.
Reduit Tilly
In the Reduit Tilly, wheelchair-bound visitors can use ramps and lifts to reach all the rooms with exhibits. Toilet facilities for the disabled are available on the ground floor and 1st upper floor. There is no parking at the Reduit Tilly. The best way is to use the underground car park "Tilly".
The footpath between the New Castle and Reduit Tilly can be used, but is not recommended for wheelchair users..
Turm Triva
The exhibition in the Turm Triva is located only on the ground floor and can be visited by wheelchair-bound visitors. Toilet facilities for the disabled are available. There is no parking possibility at the Turm Triva. The best way is to use the underground car park "Tilly" or the parking space near the restaurant KIK directly below the railway bridge on the southern bank of the Danube.
The footpath between the New Castle and Reduit Tilly can be used, but is not recommended for wheelchair users.
