Free tickets, tickets for children under the age of 18, discounts and the one-euro Sunday ticket are also available online from Munich Ticket. In addition to the ticket, please have a valid photo ID ready when you visit so that you can prove that you are entitled to a discount.

The Bavarian Army Museum (New Castle), the Museum of World War I (Reduit Tilly) and the Bavarian Police Museum (Turm Triva) are open from

Tuesday - Friday 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Official holliday 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

If an official holliday is a monday, the museum is open.

 

 

Closed:
every Monday, New Year's Day (1st of january), Tuesday of carnival, Good Friday,
All Saints' Day (1st of november), 24th, 25th and 31th december

Please note that the castle courtyard will remain closed on the following days:
New Year's Day, Good Friday, All Saints' Day, December 31st
